The Problem

Inconsistent branding

Several internal assets, including awards and email banners, portrayed inconsistencies with how they fit under the overall Multifamily brand identity.

How Might we

create a fresh visual identity while maintaining multifamily brand cohesion?

The Creative Bus lead set me on an exploration to ideate a logo/wordmark for several Multifamily internal assets to create a house of brand.

The design process involved a comprehensive exploration of various aesthetic directions while also honoring the current established Multifamily brand identity. While staying true to Freddie Mac’s blue and green as well as its corporate typography, I explored a range and combinations of visual layouts.

Most of these assets would also be shared through internal emails. Once the logos/wordmarks were finalized, email banners were designed to further enhance brand consistency and engagement.
